North/South Station Keeping of the GEO Satellites in Asymmetric Configuration by Electric Propulsion with Manipulator

Geosynchronous orbit (GEO) is a very important strategic resource. In order to maximize the utilization of GEO resources, use all-electric propulsion platforms can greatly extend service life satellites. Therefore, this paper proposes control scheme north/south station keeping (NSSK) by using electric with manipulator. First, on basis traditional calculation method semi-diurnal period orbital inclination, semi-monthly and semi-annual inclination are proposed. The new reduce fuel consumption amount frequency (SK). Secondly, fuel-optimized NSSK algorithm manipulator not only be applied large initial but also unload angular momentum asymmetric satellites while station, thereby avoiding loss satellite’s attitude. research results provide idea for SK have great engineering application value.
